nyc engagement session | rubina + garo

Have I mentioned that I really love shooting engagement sessions? It’s true… they give me a chance to hang out with my clients and take pictures in low-stress, high-creativity situations, and they let brides & grooms get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day.

Rubina & Garo will be married at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia on January 2… but since Garo lives in NYC, they asked if I’d be willing to come up there to shoot their engagement photos. Absolutely! Since Rubina & Garo hired Pete Malone from First Floor Films to shoot their video, I asked if he wanted to come along to hang out for the day as well.








Pete took a few “behind-the-scenes” shots as well…



Since we were walking around the city with cameras, of course we had to play the part of tourists for a few shots. Here’s an intentionally bad photo of Pete pointing at a tall building…
