So I put this under the “engagements” category even though these two are already married. I shot their wedding in June and instead of doing a pre-wedding engagement shoot, they opted for a 4-months-after-the-wedding we-still-love-each-other-this-much portrait session instead!

Reghan & Ed have some of the best chemistry I’ve ever seen in my clients. They were instantly at ease in front of the camera, are obviously in love, and weren’t afraid to show it. We got together a month or so ago in Doylestown to take these pictures. Enjoy, you two!

Here’s something I received in the mail yesterday. You may remember Jackie & James’s engagement pictures from a month or so ago.

I share this for a few reasons:

It’s always great to get feedback like this. It lets me know that I’m doing something right, that I made my clients happy.
Jackie & James had never had professional portraits taken before. Understandably, they didn’t know what to expect. But that’s fine! I work really hard to put my clients at ease, involve them in the process, and make things fun for everyone. It makes all the difference in the final images!
I have to say “thank you” to Jackie & James for mentioning the quality of the prints and albums. I work very hard at making sure the products I deliver are of the highest quality, and it’s gratifying to hear others agree with me.

So thank you, J&J, for your note. It made my day.

Since Jackie & James are getting married in California, I won’t be shooting their wedding, but I was grateful for the chance to take their engagement pictures! We met up in Northern Liberties and took a little time to get to know each other before hitting some spots in the city. I really enjoyed the time I had with them… here are some of the images that I really liked from the session.

Here’s another portrait session from this fall for you. Jason & Kristen took advantage of one of the last warm days of autumn for their engagement session. I love these shots, they take me right back to that warm feeling I get when the leaves start changing and the apple cider hits the shelves.

Shooting in New York is always a lot of fun. When Katerin and Adam told me they wanted to have their engagement photos taken in New York City, of course I was ready, willing, and able. Who can turn down NYC in the fall, right?

I connected with them just outside of Central Park, and we spent a few hours wandering around, looking for the light, and just getting to know each other a bit better. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Engagement photos are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. Even though Emily and Phil are getting married in New England, and have since moved there, they wanted images to remember their life in Philadelphia. We met up one beautiful October morning, and here was the result:
