day at the zoo

No one ever gets to their deathbed and thinks “I wish I’d have spent more time at the office.” So true. And so today, when friends of ours asked if we’d join them and their daughter at the Philadelphia Zoo, of course we jumped at the chance. V’s been reading books full of animals, but...

Vienna really is the cutest little girl. She looks like she definitely enjoyed her first trip to the zoo.

Great pictures, Ryan! We went to the zoo, too, today (but the National Zoo, visiting friends in DC) and I tried to take a lot of great shots with my camera. Of course, they don’t look nearly as good as yours! ;)

ranch dressing is not for drinking

As sort of a familial Valentine’s Day celebration we went out to lunch at one of our favorite places, Iron Hill in Phoenixville… and we’re still in the process of teaching V the difference between food, beverage, and condiment. I snapped these with my iPhone. Hoping you spend the day with people you love!

snow day

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I was SO excited about the snow this week! Our neighborhood is gorgeous when it’s like this… the world gets quiet, people hunker down, and every once in a while we venture out to see what it’s like out there. A couple of our street… And of...

I happen to LOVE the snow and enjoy snow days… I also LOVE what the snow means for spring and summer gardening… these images are wonderful! thanks for sharing and staying POSITIVE!

Great shots of the snow, it makes it so much more special when you’ve your own child to share it with. You’re right, that last shot’s fantastic. We had some good (for the UK at least) snow over christmas, and braved letting our 3 year old loose on a sledge on her own. Watched it all through our fingers!

    Ryan –

Just checking in for your new photos. This one is stunning. You’re so talented at capturing the most innocent, vulnerable of moments. It’s remarkable.

v’s first mischief night

On Friday night, V said she wanted to TP her friend’s house across the street. It went as well as could be expected, I suppose, but when she suggested eggs and a burning bag of dog poo, her mom and I put a stop to it…

eighteen months

I looked out the window the other day and saw V running around the backyard, so I did what I should be doing far more often and took a few quick shots. When she grows up, I’m determined to give her a hefty collection of photos from her childhood!

back from vacation

I’m back from a marvelously relaxing week at Ye Olde Jersey Shore, so once again I’m here, ready, willing, able, and eager to get back to work! Tons of great weddings to post in the coming days and weeks, and my shooting schedule is booked solid for pretty much the rest of the year so...

out to eat

It’s been a while since I posted anything of V, so here’s for those in my family who come by looking for this sort of thing… we went out to breakfast a couple of weeks ago.  This was shot with my iPhone so it’s not the quality I prefer, but still captures her personality pretty...
