Recently I connected with Jen Thomas (of Bud to Blossom Events) and her family to make some fun images at the Morris Arboretum. These kids loved the camera!

This last image may not be the most impressive photographically, but I love what it says about their relationship. Totally unposed, by the way.

‘Tis the season to get outside and make some great images! The problem is that, as a photographer, I have a zillion images of everyone else in my family, but very few to prove that, yes, I am, you know, here too. And so when my good friend Gabe (of Philip Gabriel Photography) asked if I’d be willing to photograph his family, I said of course… if he’d agree to shoot me and mine. That shoot will happen in a few weeks, but recently I met up with Gabe and Dawn and their daughter in Old City for their shoot.

Late in 2009 I got together with Shannon, Kurt, and their son “L.” I’d shot Shannon & Kurt’s wedding years ago, and it was great to hear from them again! They wanted some family pictures and I was more than happy to oblige. After rescheduling once because of weather, we finally got a gorgeous day and met up in Old City. Here’s the result:

Happy New Year! I have lots of posts from weddings and portrait sessions coming shortly as soon as my season ends and I have time to prep them… but for now, here’s a senior portrait session I shot this fall. Jessica wanted something different than the standard blue “school picture” background, so we spent some time walking around West Chester on a gorgeous afternoon…

A while back I met up with Cree to take some senior photos… I forgot my big plastic “2010″ at home so we made do with some cool spots outdoors. :)
