hoboken wedding | sandi + keith

Here’s another wedding from August (I have a lot to catch up on over the next few months, so buckle up).  Sandi & Keith found me on Facebook and booked me for their wedding near where they live in Hoboken, NJ.  I’d always treated Hoboken as a parking lot on my way to NYC, so...

water works wedding | alisa + mike

Well, January is here and that means time to play catch-up with all the stuff I’ve been meaning to do over the past few months.  Like blogging weddings, for instance.  Alisa and Mike were married in August at the Church of the Holy Trinity, and had their reception at the Water Works Restaurant.  Thanks to...

brock + nebin

This wedding means a lot to me… Brock is my younger brother, and even though he could take me in a fight, at least I’m taller. Not sure why I even felt the need to include that little tidbit, but there you go. Anyway, Brock & Nebin were married at the very end of July....

springton manor farm wedding | christina + ted

Christina & Ted were married in July at Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church, and celebrated with their friends and family at Springton Manor Farm. SMF is quite close to where I grew up, but I never knew it was there… it’s gorgeous! Ted & Christina’s families are both wonderful, and it was a picture-perfect...

normandy farm wedding | samantha + dan

Samantha & Dan’s wedding was one I’d been looking forward to for a while. Two really inviting (and photogenic) people, surrounded by their closest family and friends, for what was an incredibly emotional day. The looks on everyone’s faces said it all. Many thanks to Mike Landis who joined me for the day, as he...

Hi! I was just scrolling through these photos and noticed the port in the brides chest. Then I looked for the scar to make sure. I had one of those at the age of 30. I received it 4 weeks after my son was born for hodgkins lymphoma treatment. I know there are lots of reasons for a cath though. Well, whatever she is fighting – hoorah for her! So glad to see someone moving forward and loving life regardless of its difficulties. You go girl! And you are a beautiful bride! L

lancaster marriott at penn square wedding | lindsey + john

Here are some of my favorites from Lindsey & John’s wedding in Lancaster back in July. I had never met this couple prior to their wedding day, so when I showed up to find that they are both warm and friendly (not to mention photogenic) people, I knew it was going to be a great...

That shoe shot is very clever. You may see it in one of my upcoming weddings! o)

keely + greg in brides philadelphia

You may remember Keely & Greg‘s wedding from back in December… you know, the one where there was a huge snowstorm and they postponed their wedding a whole day so everyone could get there. It really was one of my favorite weddings of 2009, and Brides magazine thought so, too… In case you’re looking for...

Thanks, Ole… it was great having you along that day!

    What?!?!

I built my very own snow people that day with my own hands! A snowman and snow woman.
Brides Magazine didn’t care to cover the wedding that I held for my snow people before the melted. Outrageous!!

    Congrats Ryan!
