Weddings
In June I had the opportunity to shoot Diana & Joe’s wedding at the Downingtown Country Club. This was definitely one of the more emotional weddings I’ve shot… such a beautiful couple, in more ways than one. I have a lot of images so I’ll get right to them, but first I must thank Joe, Diana, and their families for allowing us to be part of such an important, intimate, and — if I say so myself — quite splendid day.
Phil Mantas joined me, and as always, some of the shots below are his. Thanks, Phil, for your hard work and beautiful shots.
Diana had a picture on her bouquet in memory of Joe’s mother.

The vows.

Diana’s brother and Joe’s sister were in the wedding party. Apologies for posting the funny faces, J+D, but sibling goofiness is too good to pass up…

We had to work quickly on the portraits, but we found some great light and worked it!

Diana & Joe were so expressive and full of life!

A toast and remembrance of Joe’s mom. Not a dry eye in the house. These are the moments I’m so privileged to witness.

“How could you?!”

I don’t remember exactly what song this was, but I’ve got a dollar that says it was “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

A truly fantastic day. Thank you so much, J&D.

I’m starting to sound repetitive here, but Katie & Greg’s wedding was yet another in a long string of gorgeous and fun weddings. I’ve got a lot of images to post so I won’t say much… except that days like this are what make me say, “Oh yeah, THIS is why I took up photography in the first place!”
Pete Malone was my partner in crime excellent photography, so thanks for all your work and fantastic images, Pete.
Pictures NOW!

Greg’s a police officer, so when one of his co-workers came by to congratulate Katie, we had to use the car for a few.

On over to St. Andrew’s in Drexel Hill for the nups.

Then into center city for some shots with Greg & Katie and their party.

It was hot. Back to the air conditioning! The party was at the gi-normous and beautiful Crystal Tea Room.

Groove Place kept the party going… This was my first time working with them, and they were impressive!

Dancing with bro.

The rings ‘n things you sing about, bring ‘em out!

And when the timing works out, it’s nice to end the evening with some photos outside. Love these!

Katie & Greg, thanks so much for having us!
