Lauren & Kevin’s wedding was one killer event. From the Loews Hotel to St. Paul’s Church to the Ballroom at the Ben, we had a great time making these images and enjoying a perfect October day. The gorgeous florals from Petals Lane made it all the more beautiful, too.

Some of the pictures you see below are courtesy of my friend and fellow photographer Steve Langdon, who 2nd-shot for me for the day. Steve is laid back and gets the job done, and I really enjoy working with him… so thanks, Steve!

This post is just a tad image-heavy, so I’m just going to jump right in.

What can I say here? Erica & Jeff are simply a lovely couple, a joy to work with, and yes, the camera loves them. They were married in August at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Philadelphia, and celebrated with a classic reception at the Rittenhouse Hotel.

Props to Pete Malone for joining me on yet another SuperFun day. Thanks Pete!

national constitution center wedding | kim + dan

Back to blogging weddings! Kim & Dan were married at Old St. Joseph’s in Philadelphia, followed by a reception at the National Constitution Center. It was such a great day to be shooting… fantastic venues, a really kind and fun couple, a fun-loving wedding party, and a gorgeous August day.

One of my favorite first looks ever.

I love when couples get creative with their entertainment. Instead of a band or DJ, they had dueling pianos. They were a blast to watch.

Here’s another wedding from August (I have a lot to catch up on over the next few months, so buckle up). Sandi & Keith found me on Facebook and booked me for their wedding near where they live in Hoboken, NJ. I’d always treated Hoboken as a parking lot on my way to NYC, so it was really a lot of fun walking around town with them and finding some really gorgeous and gritty spots to shoot.

I owe a rather huge ‘thank you’ to Pete Malone who not only spent 4+ hours in the car round trip for this one, but also shot alongside me for a 12-hour day. Some of his work is represented below as well.

Congratulations, Sandi & Keith… it was great getting to know you both!

Well, January is here and that means time to play catch-up with all the stuff I’ve been meaning to do over the past few months. Like blogging weddings, for instance. Alisa and Mike were married in August at the Church of the Holy Trinity, and had their reception at the Water Works Restaurant. Thanks to Annabelle at Affairs To Be Remembered for keeping everyone organized, and especially to Gene Smirnov who came along to 2nd shoot. A few of the shots below are his.

brock + nebin

This wedding means a lot to me… Brock is my younger brother, and even though he could take me in a fight, at least I’m taller. Not sure why I even felt the need to include that little tidbit, but there you go. Anyway, Brock & Nebin were married at the very end of July. It was a lot of fun capturing these moments with my family around, and to welcome Nebin into it.

I was also grateful for Geoff Horowitz who joined me for the day, made my job easier, and let me take some time off to celebrate at the reception. Some of the images below are his.

This post is going to be way too long, so I’ll just dive right in. Congratulations B&N… love you both.

lancaster marriott at penn square wedding | lindsey + john

Here are some of my favorites from Lindsey & John’s wedding in Lancaster back in July. I had never met this couple prior to their wedding day, so when I showed up to find that they are both warm and friendly (not to mention photogenic) people, I knew it was going to be a great day.

Huge thanks to Mike Landis for joining me as well! I know I can always trust Mike to bring his A game… some of the shots below are his.

L&J’s reception was at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, and that’s where we began the day as well.

union league wedding | jennifer + ken

Wow… we’re at that part of the year when it’s weddings every weekend (sometimes two or three) and I’m trying my best to keep up! This one is from the end of June… Jen & Ken got married at St. Mary Magdelen in Media, and followed it up with a terrific party at the Union League in Philadelphia. What a great time!

Misty from Misty Dawn Photography joined me for the day as well… she grabbed this shot below on the right of Ken getting ready (as well as a couple more below). Thanks for your help, Misty!

We headed into Old City for some shots with the wedding party.

The Union League looked spectacular, as always.

I love photographing the toasts… there’s always such great emotion.

They had a heck of a candy bar, too.

crystal tea room wedding | katie + greg

I’m starting to sound repetitive here, but Katie & Greg’s wedding was yet another in a long string of gorgeous and fun weddings. I’ve got a lot of images to post so I won’t say much… except that days like this are what make me say, “Oh yeah, THIS is why I took up photography in the first place!”

Pete Malone was my partner in ~~crime~~ excellent photography, so thanks for all your work and fantastic images, Pete.

Greg’s a police officer, so when one of his co-workers came by to congratulate Katie, we had to use the car for a few.

On over to St. Andrew’s in Drexel Hill for the nups.

Then into center city for some shots with Greg & Katie and their party.

It was hot. Back to the air conditioning! The party was at the gi-normous and beautiful Crystal Tea Room.

Groove Place kept the party going… This was my first time working with them, and they were impressive!

The rings ‘n things you sing about, bring ‘em out!

And when the timing works out, it’s nice to end the evening with some photos outside. Love these!
